The Bee’s Kees is a Prohibition-era cocktail featuring gin, lemon juice and honey. The unique name is a convention of the time: The phrase “bee’s knees” was popular slang used to call something excellent or outstanding.

  • 60 ml No. 3 London Dry Gin
  • 30 ml Honey Syrup (3 honey to 1 water)
  • 30 ml Lemon Juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 15 ml Orange Juice (freshy squeezed)

How to make

  • Shake all ingredients with ice
  • Fine strain into chilled glass
  • Serve in Coupe Glass
  • Garnish with lemon zest
