Corazon de Cuba is a new entry to our signature cocktail recipes that celebrates the history, the people and the vibrant culture of Havana, Cuba. We wanted to combine two of the iconic Cuban cocktails, the Cuba Libre and the Mojito.

Both cocktails use Rum and citrus so we split the base with banana and coconut sugar-infused rum for more funk in the recipe to create a new expression of the Cuba Libre.

To introduce the Mojito signature flavour of fresh mint we have created a mint foam to top up and garnish the cocktail at the same time.

CORAZON DE CUBA

  • 35ml / 1.18oz Havana Club Añejo 7 Year Old Rum

  • 25ml / 0.85oz Havana Club Añejo Especial Rum - infused with banana and coconut sugar

  • 15ml / .5oz Discarded Banana Peel Syrup

  • 10ml / .3oz Supasawa Sour Mix

METHOD:

  1. Shake the first 4 ingredients with ice.

  2. Strain into ice-filled Highball glass.

  3. Top up with the Mint foam.

  4. Garnish with a single Mint leaf.
