Broadway cocktail is a gin-based classic cocktail perfect as an aperitif to enjoy in small sips. Very well balanced botanical and sweet creamy finish. If you are a gin lover, like me I am sure you can appreciate a well-balanced cocktail. Also something different than the usual G&T. Don’t get me wrong. The Gin & Tonic mix is a king when it comes to serving Gin, but there are so many other beautiful cocktails including this botanical spirit.

A Cocktail to Impress

Yes, The Broadway Cocktail is a vibrant, tasty and enjoyable mix well-known ingredients to work well for the perfect experience. I don’t have any information when this cocktail first appears or why it is called Broadway. My guess, it has to do something with the Broadway theatre district in New York City. For generations, this area has brought captivated hit musicals and classic modern dramas to visitors. So, I presume it is logical to think this cocktail was born to celebrate this part of New York.

It is only my thoughts, and I may be wrong, but this doesn’t change the fact that the cocktail is genuinely fabulous. It is made with premium quality Gin and Sweet Vermouth showing some relation to classic Dry Marini Cocktail. However, while Dry Martini uses a Dry Vermouth, here in this combination, the sweet Vermouth brings a new experience. I did apply for this cocktail the excellent X-Gin from Belgium, a blend of Juniper Berries, 15 herbs and several other spices. It has a lovely hint of cocoa and touch of vanilla. An excellent Gin to pair with Martini Riserva Speciale Ambrato.

Martini is one of the world famous brands creating an exceptional Vermouths. Even if you are not a Vermouth drinker, I am sure you have heard of Martini at least once in your life. Martini Riserva Speciale Ambrato is floral and honeyed Vermouth di Torino inspired by MARTINI & Rossi’s original recipes, fuses tradition and modernity. This Vermouth goes well paired with tonic, but in a cocktail, it brings fantastic aroma and sweetness.
